KRI is a US-based consulting firm. We focus on helping shareholders significantly improve the management and sustainability of their businesses. We deal exclusively with large family-led conglomerates.
We create long-term partnerships directly with the principals of these families, and accompany them in continuously improving the strategy, organization and governance of their assets.
Our approach is 100% talent-driven and multi-generational. We build the required skills from within these families, and support each key member’s development with a global network of leaders and specialists that become part of their extended organization.
The firm was founded in 2006 by Elias Esber. Prior to founding KRI, Mr. Esber served as Commerce bank’s Executive Vice- President, in charge of its US and International Businesses.
Mr. Esber was a Partner with McKinsey and Company. During his eight years at McKinsey, Mr. Esber worked extensively with financial institutions in the United States, Lisbon, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic. Mr. Esber was a member of McKinsey’s Financial Institutions Practice.
Mr. Esber holds a Master’s degree in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He is also a graduate in Systems Engineer degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela.
Discreet Partner:
We respect the privacy required by our clients and partners as we address sensitive issues related to the core of the families they represent. We do not talk about our work or in any case represent our partners with third parties. However, if required by them, we emerge and “take the driver’s seat” for specific matters that benefit their businesses.
Hands-on Action:
We advise and look forward to our clients and partners ultimate decisions, but once these are reached, we make sure these get implemented and adjusted as the circumstances evolve. We do not tolerate inaction, as this becomes the norm we usually terminate our partnerships.
Continuous and Cumulative Improvement:
We implement as we go; ideas, recommendations and adjustments get pilot tested and implemented in short development and execution cycles. We do not “boil the ocean” for a solution just to make sure it is the perfect one. We believe in perfecting with time. We do not tolerate analysis paralysis; we are not a research house.
Actively Manage Time:
Time is the ultimate scarce resource. We believe in proactive planning to effectively leverage our clients’ agendas. The quality and level of impact of our results are totally correlated to how well we manage this critical and finite resource.
Leverage on each Talent:
Our ultimate goal is to identify the best of each individual, teach him/her how to use his/her skills and encourage their development for the benefit of all involved.
